In My Spare Time
I believe I can fly...
I love aviation and engineering, at the age of 15 I began to pursue my dream of flying by enrolling in a pilot's academy achieving my first solo flight at the age of 16 and obtaining my license at the age of 17. Her I had to develop a strong understanding of flight safety, airspace procedures, and weather assessment. This experience strengthened my self-discipline and technical decision-making while reinforcing my long-term commitment to engineering and aerospace.

Debating
I was the Co-Captain of the Melbourne Grammar School debating team 7, in the DAV (state wide interschool tournament) we were able achieve a placement of 3rd out of the ~80 teams in our year level in the 2023 season. This role strengthened my public speaking, critical reasoning, and leadership skills, while giving me valuable experience guiding a team through high-pressure, time-constrained competitive settings.

Tennis
I love to play tennis, I've been at if for the better part of a decade starting at the ripe old age of 6. In high school I was the Captain of the Melbourne Grammar School 3rd tennis team from 2024-2025. For me Tennis is a passion, I am stubbornly competitive in this sport and will defend my win streaks with vigour.
Hiking

Being an Aussie at heart I love the outdoors, from time to time (especially during the holidays) I'll get a few mates together and we'll go trek in the outback for a few days. This type of recreation requires quite a bit of planning and a lot of teamwork, the logistics of keeping a group of 7 or 8 teenage boys fed for a whole week in the bush is a more demanding task than one might expect. Ultimately it's both the physical and mental demands of the task that allows us to bond as a group as it is ill advised to tackle the Australian wilderness alone.

Computers
Can't spend all the time outdoors though, have to have some balance after all, I'm a huge computer nerd and also love to game. I built my first PC from spare parts sourced from my dad's workshop in primary school. During the school holidays I've also made some pocket money fixing and building PCs at a local repair shop. I've also done quite a few 'high level' repairs, i.e repairing bent CPU pins, resoldering damaged motherboards, I enjoy the sense of accomplishment.
